Let’s explore and stretch the boundaries of the IB Community!

We are excited to invite you to an engaging and interactive event to identify and stretch the boundaries of the IB discipline through shared exploration.

We welcome you to attend a performance with the playback theatre Silta during which diverse experiences of academic life will be shared as the ensemble improvises them on stage. Humorous, touching and energizing, playback theatre inspires fresh understandings and novel perspectives. At EIBA2024 the aim to foster inclusivity and pluralism across disciplinary backgrounds, research traditions and methodologies within the IB community.

This event is open to scholars from all career stages, backgrounds, and research interests. It is an opportunity to come together, share experiences, and generate new ideas for shaping a more inclusive and diverse future for the IB field.

Silta was established in 2011 as a collective of experienced playback conductors, actors, and musicians. The collective performs in Finnish and English, and collaborates with renowned novelist
Kari Hotakainen.
